	Monthly Social Function LYC-Manila holds monthly gatherings at the BJ Grill (Mad Hatter) Cafe in Malate, Manila. It is on the 1st Saturday of every month. Monthly Special Activity This is held on every month. We have had a pool party, several movie nights and lots of potluck parties. We try our best to have different activities every month.
	JANUARY 13, 2007 We will have a very special get-together on Saturday, January 13th at seven PM. The venue is The Jadevine Executive House, in Ermita. Please come and enjoy our first gathering in 2007. We have visitors from LYC Chicago and New Jersey. As an additional treat, Mr. Rafaelito Sy will read from his Book “Potato Queen.” Rafaelito is a published author whose recent novel explores the relationships between Gay Anglos & Asians, set in San Francisco in the 1990's. The book has received great reviews and it will be an honor for us to have him as our guest. (He was a guest speaker at IFWiCON 2006, in San Francisco.
