LYC-Sydney is an active participatory organisation. Club functions can only take place through the generous member participation with everyone taking part in organizing and running the various activities each month. Members are, therefore, encouraged to become involved, providing their time and talents either in hosting an event or participating in one of the committees, thus ensuring the continuing development and vitality of the club. LYC-Sydney is committed to our worldwide LYC community and provides a network of friends and communication that can offer a welcoming hand to all who choose to become part of the club. A monthly update by email provides details of upcoming events and the contact names of those who may be organizing them. There are regular monthly events as well as special functions those are designed to meet the needs of the membership. It is also looking at providing lists of venues or facilities that might be of interest to members with a list of relevant web sites that would be of interest and help to the diverse membership of LYC-Sydney.
