Chris reports on Sunday 21st October:
Ten Pin Bowling!!! You have got to be kidding! I think that was the general unspoken opinion when it showed up on the events calendar… And yet, WHAT A GREAT DAY. A good crowd showed up at the AMF Bowl at Randwick last Sunday for what turned out to be a really great activity. Most had not bowled in years, some had never bowled before. Between laughing, eating and bowling, $22.00 for 2 games and drinks (beer) and hamburger, everyone had a great time. Three awards were given: the overall championship went to Daniel J (who was our virgin bowler); Michael R for the most spectacular swan dive and ass flip when his legs got all tangled up; and to James S for the best, and only, backward bowl! (The idea, James, is to have the ball go down the alley towards the pins and not backwards towards the spectators!)
